Nigeria Men’s National Team manager, Jose Peseiro has tasked the team to get the best possible result from the friendly match against the Portugal this Thursday.
In spite of the several withdrawals from the game due to injuries, Peseiro now has a full squad in camp ahead of the game at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The replacements for all those reported injured and unavailable have touched down Lisbon, and the coach has tasked them to give their optimal best.
Peseiro stressed that, he wants the best possible result against his native country.
“If we can’t win, let’s draw. If we can’t draw, let’s not lose by much. That’s the goal.”
The Portuguese tactician has endured a rather poor run spell in friendly matches since taking the reigns as Super Eagles Coach, with three straight loses against Mexico, Ecuador and Algeria.
He would be looking to change the tide and mastermind a rare victory against his native Country.
