The Flying Eagles Nigeria watched the encounter between Italy and Brazil, and in a chat with FL, Flying Eagles goalie Chijioke Aniagboso revealed that the match was insightful and the team realized they had a lot of work to do, based on their observation.

Aniagboso also revealed that the team is working on improving their attacking outputs, especially after the catalog of goalscoring opportunities gone begging against the Dominican Republic.

“We have a lot of work to do and we found out some of their strengths and weaknesses. So, we’ll go back to training and improve our strengths to face the Italians. We have a great work to do on Wednesday.

“Yes, we spoke about the missed chances this morning (Monday) with our coaches because we lost a lot of chances in that game. Hence we’re going to work more on converting our chances.

“We are going to play our best and show Nigerians that we want to win the game of course we remain positive, we are going to try our best to win Italy not just for us but for the whole of Nigeria.”
