Bayelsa United will explore the transfer market for experience and in specific positions, to beef up the squad ahead of the resumption of the NPFL season.

The young players failed to hit a consistent form in the first half of the season, and Bayelsa United are third from bottom in group B.

In a bid to the dip in form and avoid the drop, head Coach Diepreye Teibowei has admitted that the team needs more firepower to the team side.

“We want to add five to six quality players ahead of the second half of the season,” Teibowei confirmed.

“We need to improve in all areas of the pitch.”
