Tayo Edun Joins Finidi’s Former Club

Memories of former Super Eagles’ winger, Finidi Geroge are bound to be reignited at Ipswich Town of England, following The Tractors’ acquisition of a season-long loan deal for Tayo Edun.

Details of the report out of Queensland reveal that Finidi’s former club quickly moved to unveil the lad, after hooking him from Fulham.

It means the 20-year-old midfielder could make his debut in Saturday’s Championship tie against Blackburn Rovers, after paperwork was completed before Friday’s midday deadline.

Edun made two English Championship appearances for Fulham last season and featured in the Carabao Cup.

The London-born player represented England up to under-20 level and was part of the squad that won the European U-19 Championship last year.
