Strong indications have emerged that Aston Villa’s in-form Nigerian-born striker, Tammy Abraham could be ready to snub a mammoth £20m bid by Wolverhampton Wanderers, because he is looking elsewhere.
Footballlive.ng gathered that transfer speculation round the lanky striker, who is on loan from Chelsea, has erupted once again, following reports that German Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig are keen on a deal.
While Tammy initially predisposed to accepting Wolves’ £20m offer, as it would be a good opportunity to return to the English Premier League spotlight in the summer, Tammy has surprisingly turned his sight on moving to Leipzig, who once also had fellow-Nigerian-born England youth international, Ademola Lookman.
The 21-year-old striker feels the option to star in Germany is a better proposal, with stronger future projections, as he could become the latest England youngster to join a German Bundesliga club.
Leipzig are moving in with a strong hope of landing the follow-up to Jadon Sancho, and Tammy is tipped to be next off the production line after his impressive spell in the English Championship.
Tammy has scored 21 goals this season and was subject of interest from Wolves in January before opting to stay at Villa Park, but now looks set to snub a new offer from the Molineux club that recently had former Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Carl Onuoha Ikeme on their cards.
