CAF raises the WAFCON stakes, increase Prize Money to $2.4m
When Nigeria won the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 beating South Africa, the prize money for victory in that final was $300,000 the next champion of the WAFCON will take home $500,000 according to the Confederation of African Football.
