Super Falcons without Ajibade, Ayinde for Canada

Rasheedat Ajibade and Halimatu Ayinde, two key players for the Super Falcons, won’t be available for the team’s opening group game in the FIFA Women’s World Cup against Canada.

The Super Falcons will be without the duo for their first Group B match which holds Friday.

 

 

Ajibade and Ayinde are serving suspensions following their sending off in the Women’s African Cup Of Nations semi-final game against Morocco.

According to a disciplinary review released by FIFA on Wednesday, it has been confirmed that the players are not eligible for Nigeria’s first World Cup match.

The match will be played at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, and kick off is 3:30am, Nigerian time.
