Super Falcons Stand-in coach Madugu Invites 21 for WAFCON Qualifiers

Coach Justin Madugu has called up 21 players to the Super Falcons’ camp in preparation for the 13th Women Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round.

The Super Falcons will face Cape Verde in a two-legged tie, the first of which is scheduled to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on November 30, with the return leg in Praia on December 5.

 

 

Following the 5-1 aggregate victory against Ethiopia, Nigeria secured its place in the final qualifying round.

Camp opens between November 25 and 27 in Abuja.

Nigeria has a remarkable history in the Women Africa Cup of Nations, having won nine out of the twelve titles contested since the competition’s inception in 1998.
