Super Falcons Squad for Sao Tome Clash Includes Ebi, Oshoala


Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade, and forward Asisat Oshoala are among the 24 players who have received invitations for Nigeria’s 2024 Olympic games qualifier against Sao Time and Principe.

The Super Falcons will prepare for the first round, first-leg qualifying match against the small Central African Nation.



Among the players invited are veteran captain, Onome Ebi, Oluwatosin Demehin, Michelle Alozie, and Rofiat Imuran.

Nigeria, will play host to Sao Tome and Principe at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Friday, September 22.

The return leg of the fixture is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26.

Winner of this tie will advance to the second round, where they will face the winner between Cape Verde and Liberia.

The second-round matches are scheduled for the period from 27th November to 5th December.

Meanwhile, Morocco has been named as host of next year’s Women Africa Cup of Nations.
