Super Falcons forward, Uchenna Kanu says that the team is mentally prepared and fully ready for the upcoming Women’s World Cup, set to take place in Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Falcons are on their way to the World Cup camp, and expected to arrive in the country on Tuesday or Wednesday morning as at the time of this report.

While speaking ahead of their departure the skilful attacker said they understand the task at hand and therefore they are battle ready.

“We’ve seen the group and it’s gonna be hard, but we are mentally prepared and moving forward. I think we have a good team. We’re gonna do great,” Kanu said.

Nigeria will kick off its campaign against Olympic champions Canada, the co-hosts Australia and finally The Republic of Ireland in the group stage.
