Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi believes the team is determined to reach the next round of Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria will slug it out with Cameroon in the battle for the World Cup and Semi-final tickets in one of the quarter-final matches of the WAFCON on Thursday.
Thursday’s encounter will hold at the Stade Mohamed V and the Falcons have enjoyed a superior record over their bitter rivals.
“Of course, we know what to expect. The Cameroonians also want to go to the World Cup. But we have never missed the World Cup and we won’t start now,” Ebi told thenff.com.
“Our eyes are fully focused on Australia & New Zealand, and then we can start talking about the trophy.”
The last meeting between both sides ended 1-0 in Yaounde for Nigeria to pick up its 8th WAFCON title.
Winner of Tomorrow’s game will automatically qualify for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
