Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Melvin Amaju Pinnick has appealed to the country’s soccer fans to bear with the Super Eagles, as he says the team will pout up a better performance on Tuesday.
Many Nigerians were disappointed with the Eagles’ flow and rhythm in Friday’s final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, such that many felt the 3-1 win was not satisfactory, but Pinnick says they should expect something better in the international friendly against Egypt at same venue.
Footballlive.ng reports further that Pinnick also cast a look ahead at the Eagles’ build-up plans for the AFCON 2019 campaign in The Land of The Pharaohs and promised that the NFF will provide the team with the best form of preparations ever.
Pinnick assured: “They will be totally different against Egypt on Tuesday. We will definitely put all the necessary arrangement in motion to ensure that the Eagles do well in Egypt.”
