Nigerian players have been on the move this summer across Europe; some making big money moves and to bigger club sides with game time assured.
In a chat with footballlive.ng, assistant Coach of the Super Eagles Imama Amapakabo described the situation as “profitable to the nation”.
“I think it’s a thing of Joy for us as a nation that we need to see our players make the right moves,” Amapakabo enthused.
“They are getting the opportunity to play first team football like we want them to; not moves that aren’t profitable to the nation. We know so many of our players we can count upon to play week in and out.
“We want to have our players play for good teams and leagues all over the world, we have seen in this window, that some of them have done well in terms of movement from the clubs they were to bigger clubs.
“Some have been counted as big money moves also, which I think is a very big plus for us.”
