Super Eagles not One-man team – Osimhen

While he has been the focal point for the Super Eagles, Victor Osimhen has talked up the squad depth of the Nigerian team to face Ghana on Tuesday in the second leg of the World Cup play-off.

Osimhen started up front for the Eagles in Kumasi but did not bother the Ghanaian goalkeeper much on the night and ahead of the return leg at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, he insists there are match winners in the team that can cause Ghana problems.
“I think we’re ready we have good quality players, individual talents that can actually win games for us and we have a very good squad depth; on the bench we have quality players that can come in and get the job done for us and we are really looking forward to this game as a group.”
The Nigerian Forward also praised Otto Addo’s men, identifying the individual quality in the Black Stars team as well.
“We have to give respect to the Ghanaian team also, they have some great quality players.”
