Nigeria finished with third overall at the 2019 AFCON, but the team can get better, but Rohr and his players need time says former Super Eagles midfielder Godwin Okpara.
Speaking with footballlive.ng, Okpara argues that the team is young and are yet to build the telepathic understanding required to excel at that level of international football.
“You can see the form of our players now, can’t be compare with the form of other countries, we still need time; we are still building our team and gathering the players,” the AFCON 2000 silver medal winner said.
“These players are still young and they are trying to get used to their various clubs, I think with time they will come out, what we need is time for now.”
