Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi gave another impressive performance for 10-man Everton in the Premier League, as they forced a goalless outcome against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Shortly after the half-hour mark, Alex Iwobi’s stinging shot from range forced Sam Johnstone into a stunning save, brightening an otherwise lacklustre Everton performance.

Everton managed to hold on for a draw and their first clean sheet in five games despite Mason Holgate picking up a second yellow after having a difficult time against Ayew in the defender’s first appearance since August.

Leicester City’s victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers caused Everton to fall into the relegation zone.

Contrarily, Crystal Palace have a much more confident standing, being nine points above the drop zone, with Roy Hodgson maintaining his unbeaten form since his return to Selhurst Park, with that streak continuing into its fourth game.
