Lille manager Christophe Galtier has revealed that forward Victor Osimhen will be available for selection against Olympique Marseille on Saturday.
Osimhen recovered from the abductor injury he picked up in Lille’s 3-0 home win against Bordeaux last weekend and was consequently replaced by Loic Remy.
Although, there have been concerns the 20-year-old will spend some time on the treatment table, but Galtier has confirmed that Osimhen has trained well throughout the week.
“Victor (Osimhen) is up and running. He has trained well throughout the week,” Galtier told a news conference on Thursday.
The news will certainly delight Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr, in spite of naming him in this Month’s 2021 AFCON qualifiers, the youngster was a doubt for the matches.
