Former Super Eagles midfielder Godwin Okpara, has urged the head coach Jose Peseiro to stick with players who deserve to be on the team based on merit only.
Okpara praised the new players coming in to the national team and making impacts, he said the Super Eagles is now open and it is better to allow competition in the squad.
The former defender said no player should be made to feel like he has a nailed down shirt in the starting eleven.
