Super Eagles Defender Walking on Thin Ice, Risks Suspension in Germany

Jamilu Collins will be looking to avoid his fifth consecutive booking when SC Paderborn take on FC Union Berlin in a Bundesliga action this weekend at the Benteler Arena.

Collins helped Paderborn to their first away victory of the season as the modest side defeated Werder Bremen last Sunday.

The 25-year old left-back will miss the club’s next home match against Eintracht Frankfurt if he gets booked in Saturday’s cracker with FC Union Berlin.

According to the Bundesliga rule, a player is disqualified from the next game after five consecutive yellow cards in five matches and the young Nigeria already has four.

And in the case of any unforeseen circumstances leading to another booking for him this Saturday, the ebony-black defence ace would consequently be out of their next crucial tie with Eintracht Frankfurt and this would be a big blow to the club who are seriously in need of all their regular players to escape relegation.
