Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro had sent a congratulatory message to bronze medal-winning Flamingos, after their heroics at the just concluded FIFA Women’s World Cup in India.
The Portuguese gaffer highlighted that the future of women’s football is bright and promising.
Peseiro expressed belief in Women’s sport in the country.
He said this in a tweet, after the triumph of the U17 team via penalty shootout against Germany on Sunday.
The Super Eagles boss will be back in action once again this month, on the 10th, in a friendly match against Costa Rica and seven days later, against the Portuguese national team, before the FIFA World Cup starts on 20th November.
