Super Eagles Camp in Full Swing for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier

The Super Eagles camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho has officially opened in Uyo.

Kenneth Omeruo, Jamilu Collins, and Umar Sadiq were among the early arrivals, checking into the team’s Four Points Hotel in Ikot Ekpene on Monday afternoon.

 

The remaining 20 invited players joined the camp shortly. The team had its first training session on Tuesday to prepare for the upcoming matches.

Jose Peseiro’s Super Eagles will face the Likuena of Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Thursday.

Subsequently, they will take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Huye Stadium in Butare.

The matches are part of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
