The Super Eagles of Nigeria will today trade tackles with the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a mouth watering Africa Cup of Nations semi final encounter.

Nigeria is aiming for a fourth African title, and will be basking in the Euphoria of eliminating holders Cameroon in the last 16, before accounting for South Africa in the last eight.

Algeria meanwhile have been the best team so far at the AFCON in terms of returns and level of play.
The Desert Foxes won all their group stage matches, en route the knockout stages, and have scored ten goals in the competition, the most by any team.
While Algeria will bank on the experience, skills and tricks of Captain and Manchester City forward Riyad Mahrez, Nigeria will hope 20 year-old Villarreal sensation Samuel Chukwueze comes to the party.
Today’s encounter is scheduled for the 75 thousand capacity Cairo International Stadium, and will kick off at 8pm Nigerian time.
