FIFA technical committee member at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Sunday Oliseh has expressed excitement with the performance of African sides at the tournament.
Oliseh also described the World Cup in Qatar as the best tournament so far.
The former midfielder was ecstatic at the performance of Morocco, who although lost to France in the semi-final.
“This is the greatest tournament my continent has ever had.
“Not only because we have an African and an Arab nation in the semi-finals for the first time, but because every African team that has come here has won one game at least,” a proud Oliseh explained.
Morocco will face Croatia in the Third Place playoff match; the European side lost to Argentina 3-0 in the semi-final.
