Striker Henry Onyekuru came off the bench to help Adana Demirspor to a 3-2 away victory against Karagumruk at the Vodafone Park, Wednesday night in the Super Lig.

Onyekuru was dropped to the bench after three consecutive starts that brought only one goal.

But he didn’t waste time to stake his claim as he scored just six minutes into his introduction to put his team ahead in the 76th minute.

Karagumruk leveled the score to make it 2-2 with ten minutes to go, but a late twist ensued and Adana Demirspor walked away with all three points thanks to a fortuitous own-goal.

Babajide Akintola was in action for 70 minutes and had a good game in the midfield for Demirspor, while Nicholas Anwan saw only 19 minutes for Karagumruk.
