Steven Gerrard keen on Signing Nigerian Midfielder On A Permanent Deal

Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers have shown interest in signing Nigerian-born forward Sheyi Ojo on a permanent basis.

Ojo, who failed to break into Liverpool’s first team arrived Rangers in the summer and has contributed 9 goals in 17 league appearances for Steven Gerrard’s men.

 

Gerrard is a big admirer of the left-footed attacker and he has convinced the board on the player.

 

The Forward, who was born in England, he is eligible to represent Nigeria in international football through his Nigerian heritage .

 

He has represented England at under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19 , under-20 and under-21 and has agreed to switch allegiance to Nigeria in 2018.
