Standard De Liege Looking To Retain Services Of Super Eagles Midfielder, Uche Agbo

Date:

An impressive first season from the versatile Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Uche Agbo seem to have caught the eyes of several suitors with Torino who recently signed Super Eagles, Ola Aina on loan from Chelsea FC rumored to have made an enquiry.

Standard de Liege are however said to be demanding a minimum of five million dollars in transfer fee for the former Enyimba International player who still has two years to run on his contract with the Belgians.

Uche Agbo would played for Granada CF in the Spanish La Liga on loan from Watford before joining Standard de Liege featured in 32 of the 38 matches for his club last season has been said to be focused on achieving success with the Belgian club who recently suffered elimination from the UEFA Champions League but was also willing to consider a move if both clubs could agreed on a fee.

If Torino were to conclude the transfer of the defensive midfielder before the close of the transfer window, he would be the third member of the Super Eagles preliminary World Cup squad that would have move to the Italian Serie A following the Arrivals of Aina [on Loan at Torino from Chelsea] and Ekong who joined Udinese from Bursaspor
