Valentine Ozornwafor might not get his Sporting Charleroi debut this month after and could require more time to adapt to the style of his new team according to club Manager Edward Still.
Ozornwafor joined the Belgian side on loan this summer from Galatasaray on a one-year deal with the option to buy.
The CB only previously appeared once in the league for Galatasaray whom he joined in 2019.
He had also had a loan spell at LaLiga 2 side Almeria where he made only 4 league appearances.
Speaking on the new signing’s arrival Still told Belgian football outlet the 22 year-old Nigeria international is work in progress.
“It’s a very interesting profile that we didn’t have yet. It has power and speed, but you have to see its added value in the medium term.
“We still have to prepare him to defend as we do and it could take a month or two, although it would be good news if things go faster.”
