2016 CAF Champions League winner Pitso Mosimane has got a message for his contemporaries as the competition is about to get underway.

Mosimane led Mamelodi Sundowns to glory in the Champions League three seasons ago and followed up with the Super Cup the next season.

In an interview with South Africa based football news outlet, Kick Off Magazine, the Coach shutdown his contemporaries who make excuses after defeat in the games in the tournament.

“The minute you complaining about the distance, the pitch, the kind of hotel, mosquitoes and those kind of things… the minute you complain about those things then you have lost it. You are in Champions League my Friend, just get on with it.” [sic]

Pillars and Enyimba will represent Nigeria in the competition, who will play through the qualifying rounds.
