President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a second-batch of delegates to represent the FG and show support to the Eagles during the semi-final match against Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations 2019.
A press statement on Friday revealed that a five-man delegate including the immediate past Sports Minister Solomon Dalung will be part of the entourage.
Part of the Statement Reads:
The next group of five delegates representing the Federal Government will be led by the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Lawan Ahmed.
The list comprises the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, the immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung, the Nigeria Olympic Committee President, Engr Abu Gumel and the Permanent Secretary Mr Olusade Adesola.
According to the release, “the Delegation approved by the President was split into two to ensure maximum support to the Super Eagles during the Nations Cup.”
