Simy Nwankwo has jumped ship from Salernitana on a season-long loan deal to Benevento.
The 30 year-old Forward is yet to make an appearance this season, with the round of games into the new Serie B campaign.
Simy completed his move on transfer deadline day and will hope to get off to a good start with his new team.
Last season, he cut short his stay with Salernitana in the top flight and completed the season with Parma in the lower division.
He scored 16 goals in total for both clubs playing a total of 31 matches.
So far in the early days of the season, Benevento are 13th in the standings with a loss, draw and win in their most recent game.
They’ll be in action on Saturday, playing away from home against Venezia.
