Striker Simy bagged a brace for relegation-threatened Crotone to conquer Salernitana in the Italian Serie B in Sunday, reports Footballlive.ng.
After dominating the final arc of the pitch, a seventh Serie B goal this season served as deserved reward for 26-year-old Simy in the 11th minute.
The lanky player was imposing in the air, got on the ball regularly and looked ready to play an important role for his side in the relegation battle.
He eventually sealed the maximum points some minutes to the hour mark.
Crotone are fighting to beat the drop so that means the goals must come from anywhere and there is an expectation on forward Simy to produce better than he did in the past.
His strikes on Sunday were classy, the 26-year-old was amazing at the Stadio Arechi.
The Rossoblu entertain Lecce in the Serie B next Sunday.
