Nantes lost their final mid-season friendly 2-1 against FC Lorient on Wednesday.
Antoine Kombouaré’s Nantes only previously played Ligue 2 side, Stade Lavallois, as part of test games to keep in shape until the return of competitive football.
However, the Canaries failed to win either games, drawing 1-1 against Laval and lost to Lorient from Adil Aouchiche’s 88th minute goal.
Lorient took the lead early in the third minute, but Moses Simon brought the sides level in the first half.
The Nigerian was up against his Country men Terem Moffi and Innocent Bonke.
Football action in the Ligue 1 resumes next week and Nantes will play away at Troyes while Lorient hosts Montpellier.
