At the Stade de la Beaujoire this weekend, Nantes brought their fine season to a fitting conclusion, picking up a point against Saint Etienne.

Nantes finished the season in the top half of the table, following the 1-1 draw against the 10 times French champions, who finished in the relegation playoff spot.
Meanwhile, Nantes were without Nigerian Winger Moses Simon, who was out injured.
It’s unclear how severe the injury to Simon is, and it could cast doubts on the 26 year-old’s availability for Nigeria’s friendly matches against Mexico and Ecuador on May 28th and June 2nd respectively.
This season, the winger has been an important Player and part of the Team’s success this campaign, contributing 6 goals and 8 assists in Ligue 1.
Next season the team will compete against the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, AS Roma and Lazio in the Europa League.
