Simon denied goal in Nantes 3-1 win against Brest

Nantes winger Moses Simon did everything right but get his name on the score sheet in the Ligue 1 match against Brest on Wednesday.

Simon bossed the game for Les Canaries, registered five shots; the most by any player on the night.
The Nigerian was on the pitch for the duration of the game as Nantes cruised to a comfortable 3-1 win.
“Despite the score, I was not quiet on the bench. I would have liked to see my boys do more, better. I am demanding,” Nantes Coach Antoine Kombouaré told the club’s website.
“There was a bit of doubt in the minds after two losses at home, moves away from the zone.
“We continue to believe in what we are doing, and above all to give them confidence, to continue the collective game. We regain the efficiency. We shoot 14 times on goal, for 6 shots on target. Happy to score 7 goals in two matches.
“There is satisfaction, but we do not get excited because we know it’s fragile.”
“We had a good first quarter of an hour where we could score. Brest then held the ball and kept us from getting out. Ludo’s goal is doing us good. In the second half, it is better built.
“The score makes sense. It’s good. The players answer present. We are demanding with them, but they are there. There is still one match in Reims on Sunday, which must be won.”
