Samuel Chukwueze was on in action for Villarreal at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan against Sevilla on Sunday.
Chukwueze, who was nominated for the 2019 Kopa trophy, was impressive against the home side and gave their right full back plenty of problems.
And it was the visitors who drew first blood through defender Rail Albiol in the 13th minute.
But Spanish Moroccan youngster Munir El Haddadi brought Julen Lopetegui’s men level just past the hour mark.
Chukwueze was substituted in the 64th minutes and his replacement Karl Toko Ekambi scored the second for Villarreal with 14 minutes to the end of the game.
Sevilla piled on late pressure, but Villarreal somehow held on for the three points and ended their six game winless run in the league.
