Serie A side Salernitana close to agreeing €6m deal with Crotone for Simy Nwankwo


Simy Nwankwo will leave FC Crotone after five years at the club and is set to join newly promoted Serie A side Salernitana.

According to Italian football writer Gianluca Di Marzio, the clubs will complete the deal for Simy on Friday.
Not much is known about the contract offered the Nigerian forward, but it is reported that the move will cost Salernitana in the region of €6 million including add-ons.
Crotone will also be entitled to 10% of the resale value for the 29 year-old.
Last season the Simy Nwankwo scored 20 goals in 38 league appearances for Crotone but the club was relegated.
He is now likely to return to the top division with newly promoted Salernitana.
