African Champions, Senegal, on Tuesday became just the third Nation from the continent to ever beat Brazil, joining Cameroon and Morocco.

The International friendly match, which was held in Lisboa, started with Brazil taking an early lead, but Senegal refused to give up and managed to equalize before half-time.

In the second half, Senegal dominated play, scoring three more goals to seal their victory.

Led by the talismanic Sadio Mané the Teranga Lions performance was marked by a high level of skill, teamwork, and determination.

The victory was celebrated widely in Senegal, with fans taking to the streets to express their joy and pride in the team’s achievement.

Senegalese President, Macky Sall congratulated the Aliou Cisse’s side, and described the victory as a testament to the country’s footballing talent and potential.

Senegal’s victory over Brazil is a significant milestone for African football.

Cameroon and Morocco are the only other African nations to have beaten the five-time World Champions.
