Club manager Lawrence Akpokona, has urged players in the Super Eagles B team to seize the opportunity presented by the international friendly against Costa Rica’s Los Ticos.
The Eagles B team is predominantly home based and Akpokona believes the chance presented by facing a FIFA World Cup-bound team will impact their careers.
Nigeria is billed to play Costa Rica on Thursday, November 10 and the team is already in the Central American country.
Speaking with FL Lawrence Akpokona charged the Eagles B to see the game as an audition to the larger world.
‘This match has the potential to give the careers of these players a massive boost and set them up for big heights.’
He explained that,’ the Players should be serious with the match and it will be a match which tests not only their abilities, but their determination to make it big in football,’ the veteran administrator said.
