Beach soccer national team, Super Sand Eagles’ coach, Audu Adamu (Ejo) has sent a passionate appeal to the ministry of sports to help him get his plans for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on course early.
Footballlive.ng gathered that ‘Ejo’ is set to line his side out for qualifiers later this month in Cape Verde, ahead of which he says he has already submitted his list and programme to the ministry, but equally appealed for assistance from Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The beach soccer tactician is now seeking early approval of his list, in order to accord him enough time to camp his wards and ensure they pick at ticket to the Olympics from the qualifiers.
After affirming that the list of players for the qualifiers at Cape Verde, had been forwarded for approval, ‘Ejo’ stressed the need to commence camping, for the players to build team spirit and ensure a good outing.
Ejo declared: “We have sent our list for approval. Immediately we get approval, we will make the list public.
“Once our list is approved, we will appeal that we have nothing short of five months camping; early camping is necessary for good results.
“This is the first time we will be going to the Olympics and we do not want to leave any stone unturned.
“The list comprises those I strongly believe will deliver. We believe with all necessary things in place, we will have a great outing.”
