Samuel Chukwueze is again being linked with a move away from Villarreal.
The winger has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Liverpool and Manchester City.
The two English giants are currently battling it out for the Premier League title, but it appears that Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola could also lock horns in the the summer window.
Chukwueze has impressed both managers with his performances for Villarreal in La Liga this season.
Daily Mail, the England-based newspaper, are the latest to discuss the 19-year-old’s future, suggesting two clubs as possible destinations if he is allowed to depart in the months ahead.
A move to a La Liga club is also logical for Chukwueze given how highly regarded is, the report also points to the recent speculation linking him to Atletico Madrid.
Numerous reports have also suggested Arsenal are keen on the Nigerian.
He has been a part of the first team at the La Liga side since September 2018.
Chukwueze’s contract is currently due to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 19-year-old has contributed five goals and two assists from 24 outings in Spain’s top flight, with his displays helping Villarreal sit five points clear of the relegation zone.
Chukwueze has a release clause of £54m, but the report suggests that Villarreal could be prepared to reach a compromise with any interested clubs.
