Bukayo Saka was in action for Arsenal against Manchester United as both teams played out a 1-all draw at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Gunners set out with Saka among the Arsenal’s front three, and had their best chance of first half prompting a fine double save from David de Gea.
Manchester United then went in front through Scott McTominay beautiful strike on the stroke of half time.
The Arsenal academy product, who scored and assisted twice in the Europa League against Frankfurt two weeks ago, ensured that the Gunners restored parity as he set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Arsenal’s equalizer in the 58th minute.
Despite his impressive display, he was was substituted with 10 minutes left to play as Joe Willock was introduced in the 80th minute.
Bukayo Saka is 18-year, 25-day old as at the time of the match between Manchester United and Arsenal on Monday night which makes him the youngest player to ever start a premier league match between between the Premier League rivals according to Sports Statistics and Data Site, Opta Sports.
Following the 18- year- old impressive display, Former Arsenal Midfielder, Francesc Fabregas was quick to heap praise on him as he tweeted, ‘Saka is a player. Eighteen years old and showing great maturity,’ he tweeted, also posting a clapping hands emoji.
The Arsenal starlet who was born in London, England to Nigerian parents has played for England U16s and is
currently part of the U19 squad, although he is yet to be called up by the senior side as he still young and needs time to evolve.
