Sadiq announces his Real Sociedad Arrival with debut goal

Sadiq Umar scored on his debut for Real Sociedad against Atletico Madrid and it took the Forward just 10 minutes upon his introduction in the game.

It was a tough encounter at the Reale Arena, as Real Sociedad were trailing 1-0 after Alvaro Morata put the visitors ahead with some smart finishing.

The white and Blues were missing the commanding presence of Alexander Isak who moved to Newcastle for a club-record fee, but Sadiq Umar gave the Sociedad fans a reason to smile as he produced a goal on his debut.

Umar Sadiq, who has already scored two league goals for Almeria this campaign, was brought on in the 46th minute for Alexander Sorloth

The 25 year-old proved to be a masterstroke as he beat his man to head home a deep cross by the impressive Mohamed- Ali Cho, who caused Atletico a lot of problems in the match.

Sadiq would have scored another had his chipped effort over Juan Oblak wasn’t ruled for offside ensuring that both teams shared the spoils.
