Napoli’s head coach, Rudi Garcia has once again gone critical of Victor Osimhen’s performance during the club’s disappointing home defeat to Lazio on Saturday night.

Garcia expressed his criticism of Osimhen’s display, especially in the second half, as Napoli suffered their first league loss of the campaign.

The Forward also failed to score as Napoli endured a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Lazio at the Diego Maradona Stadium.

However, despite a poor general display from the team Napoli’s manager, Garcia, chose to voice his dissatisfaction with the Nigerian’s second-half performance.

According to Garcia, as reported by Tutto Napoli, “He (Osimhen) also saw a drop in performance in the second half; in the first half, he didn’t have any standout opportunities.

“He consistently challenges the opposing defense and creates space for his teammates. We had chances, ambitions, and we were aggressive. But in the second half, none of my players met the team’s standards.”

This critique is not the first of its kind from Rudi Garcia, who has previously expressed concerns about Osimhen’s output especially defensively.
