Semi Ajayi played 62 minutes in Rotherham’s 2-1 defeat to German third division side FC Magdeburg in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.
Ajayi started his second off-season match for the League One side and was pivotal to them picking up a first-haf advantage.
However, just past the hour mark The Millers Manager Paul Warne made a second stream of substitutions pulling out Ajayi and four others.
Unfortunately the new structure couldn’t hold and the hosts leveled two minutes later. They followed up with a winner in the 81st minute.
Almost one week ago, Rotherham hammered Division 10 side Parkgate FC 7-0 in their first pre-season friendly.
