Former Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr is expected to put pen to paper as head coach of the Benin Republic MNT according to FL sources.
Rohr will meet with the President of the Beninese Football Federation, Mathurin de Chacus and Minister of Sports Oswald Homeky to finalize the details of his contract and if things go to plan the Frenchman will take the reigns.
The 69 year-old is expected to agree a deal to replace to Squirrels caretaker manager, Moussa Latoundji.
On the 13th of December 2021 the NFF announced that they have parted ways with Gernot Rohr, as cited by former NFF president, Amaju Pinnick the sack was due inorder to avoid an impending disaster in the Super Eagles.
