Rennes 1-0 Nantes: Simon Moses injured in Derby Breton defeat, Severity yet to be Ascertain

Winger Simon Moses was replaced after the first half of the Derby Breton on Sunday with an injury concern Nantes head Coach Antoine Kombouare has disclosed.

Simon started the game against Rennes at the Roazhon Park but did not return after the break due to a pulled hamstring.
Speaking after the game when asked about the Nigerian’s substitution, Kombouare said:
‘We know the importance of Simon and Kolo Muani. I hate to complain. It’s like that. We have to be cohesive and show even more energy. We can do a lot better. We would have won, we would not have talked about the absentees.
‘The last derby here, nothing to see. There were waves everywhere. Tonight, there is no big chance, apart from the goal.
‘Simon? A lesion in the ischios. We’ll see tomorrow.’
Rennes defeated Nantes courtesy Martin Terrier’s goal in the 58th minute.
The defeat means Nantes have won, drawn and lost in all three league games played so far this season.
