Remo Stars Nduka Junior Confident Ahead of Medeama Clash

Remo Stars captain, Nduka Junior says the team is ready and confident of a big result against Ghanaian champions, Medeama in their CAF Champions League preliminary round second-leg match, this Sunday, in Ikenne.

In a chat with FL, Junior described the feeling ahead of the Sunday showdown as focused and a winning mentality.

“Speaking about the return leg against Medeama, the atmosphere in camp and also in the dressing room has been really positive,” the player said.

“I must say the boys know what’s at stake for us to win the game on Sunday and qualify for the next round. This is the second preliminary round.

“We’ve been working tirelessly to make sure the mistakes we could not convert against Medeama in the first leg in Ghana. We’ve been working tirelessly to make sure they count on this Sunday.”

Medeama goes into the clash on Sunday with a 1-0 advantage and Remo Stars will look to turn the game on its head in a bid to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Nduka Junior also revealed that the team has been working to correct the mistakes they made in the reverse fixture.
