Referee Asks Mesut Ozil To Sign His Yellow Card BEFORE Kick-Off

Date:

The Gunners named a strong starting lineup to take on PSG at the National Stadium in Singapore and Unai Emery showed faith in his German star by giving him the captain’s armband.

While the two teams were lining up in the tunnel before the game, the referee, of all people, asked the Arsenal captain for his autograph ahead of the club’s pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain, this afternoon.

Have you ever seen anything like it?

Ozil gave the Gunners the lead, finishing off a quick counter-attack, before Nkuku levelled from the spot. 1-1.

Lacazette’s double then gave Emery’s men a deserved two-goal lead. Holding and Nketiah rounded off scoring.

It ended 5-1.
