Red Hot Emem Eduok scores brace in Turkey, dedicate goals and award to fans

Nigerian international Emem Eduok scored a brace and won the man of the match award in BB Erzurumspor’s 4 – 2 win over seventh placed Sivasspor in a Turkish Super Lig match on Sunday as the team intensifies their fight against relegation.

 

Eduok recently completed a January transfer move to the 17th placed team from fellow Turkish side Kasimpasa who is currently placed eight on the league table.

 

The home side took the lead through a coolly converted spot kick by Jasim Scuk in the 4th minute of the game while Serhiy Rybalka equalized for the away side eight minutes later. The Nigerian international scored his first goal of the encounter in the 30thminute while a resolute Sivasspor made it 2 -2 in the 56th minute.

 

With the match on level terms it was the new signing Eduok who took the home team ahead in the 60th minute while former Manchester United and Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan sealed the win for the home side in the in the 72nd minute.

The Super Eagles striker has dedicated both goals to fans of the club who have been supportive of him since moving to the club some weeks back. “Two goals from me to the fans of @erzurumspor thank you so much for your support”

BB Erzurumspor is currently placed 17th in the 18 table Turkish Super Lig on 21 points after 22 games with four wins, nine draws and nine losses. The team has only been able to record two wins in their last 10 matches.
