Real Madrid wins 14th Champions League title

Real Madrid have been crowned Champions of Europe, Los Blancos pipped Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final in Paris.

A Vinicius Jr. second half (59′) strike was enough to decide the encounter, in what was the third UCL final between the sides.
Liverpool started the stronger of the two, and they went close on several occasions.
Sadio Mané’s shot was kept out by the upright and Mohamed Salah also rued some one on one opportunities against Thibaut Courtois.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper was voted MOTM for his heroics, he made a couple of crucial saves in the dying minutes of the game while on the other end, Madrid’s attacker were wasteful and couldn’t kill off the game.
Saturday’s UCL triumph was Los Blancos’ 14th title and the fourth for Manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti previously won two titles with AC Milan and completed Real Madrid’s La Decima.
The Spanish and European champions will next season face Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup and also compete in FIFA Club World Cup.
